What we take on

Full-home design

A complete plan for every room: layout, finishes, lighting, furniture and art, phased to your budget and timeline.

Kitchens & baths

Millwork drawings, stone and tile selection, fixtures and lighting, coordinated with your contractor from demolition to sealing the grout.

Furnishing & styling

For rooms that are built but unfinished. We source furniture, rugs, lighting and textiles, then install and style in one visit.

Colour consultation

A two-hour visit with large painted samples, tested against your floors and your light at different times of day.

How a project runs

Five stages, in this order

  1. Stage 1

    Walkthrough

We meet at your home, measure, photograph and listen. You'll leave with a written summary of what we heard and a proposed scope.

  2. Stage 2

    Concept

Plans, elevations and a material board you can hold. We work through one round of revisions together, at the table, with real samples.

  3. Stage 3

    Drawings & sourcing

Construction drawings for your trades and a full schedule of finishes and furniture, with lead times and costs on one sheet.

  4. Stage 4

    Build

Regular site visits, answers to contractor questions, and someone checking that the tile is actually laid the way it was drawn.

  5. Stage 5

    Install

Furniture arrives, art goes up, beds are made. We hand over the keys with a list of every finish, so repairs years later are easy.

Questions people ask first

Do you work outside Thornhill?

Yes. Most projects are in Toronto, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham and North York. Further afield, call and we'll talk it through.

Can you work with my contractor?

Yes. We're happy to work with your trades, or we can recommend people we've built with before.

Do I have to replace all my furniture?

No. Most homes keep their best pieces. Part of the walkthrough is deciding what stays, what gets reupholstered and what goes.

How are fees structured?

After the walkthrough you'll get a written proposal with a fixed fee for each stage, so you can see the cost before anything is drawn.
