A forty-foot living room broken into three places to sit, without adding a single wall.
Long rooms tend to end up with furniture pushed against the walls. Here, rugs and low pieces mark out a reading corner, a conversation area and a spot for the piano.
Sheer linen softens the western light in the late afternoon without hiding the view.
