Layered whites, a deep upholstered bed and one warm lamp, set up for the last hour of the day.
We designed this room around evening light. Every lamp sits below eye level and nothing overhead is switched on after dark.
Textiles do the decorating: boucle, washed linen and a heavy wool throw at the foot of the bed.
